The IAI is proud to help sponsor a half-day seminar on Saturday 16 November with the Irish Association of Professional Osteoarchaeologists (IAPO)! The seminar will run from 9am to 2pm in the Helen Roe Theatre, RSAI, Merrion Square, Dublin 2.
The purpose of this event is to share current research by IAPO members across the spectrum of academic, commercial, and forensic projects and will be of interest to many.
The event will also serve to launch the updated Treatment of Human Remains Guidelines on behalf of the IAI/IAPO. A presentation will be given by the principle author highlighting changes to the original guidance document, followed by an open discussion between attendees and presenters. The guidelines, which are currently in the review stage, will be published as a digital document on the IAI website, and this is a valuable opportunity for professionals working in the sector to engage with the guidance as CPD.
