Codes of Conduct
IAI had produced a series of Codes of Conduct (as provided for by Article 48 of Articles of Association) relating to the professional practice of archaeology with the aim of improving archaeological standards throughout the island of Ireland. These Codes of Conduct were ratified by the membership at the AGM held in Belfast in March 2006. Members of the Institute are expected to adhere to the provisions of the codes in their professional practice, failure to do so can result in termination of membership (as provided for by Article 18 of the Articles of Association)
